8:30 a.m.-9:15 a.m. — Session I: Growing Core Deposits - FiNet

By listening to our customers carefully we can support them in the best manner possible with our subject matter expertise as well as help prepare them for what’s ahead from the agency insights. This session will share what’s being said regarding:

  • Trends of questions/issues raised from over 1,300 customers via help desk and annual user conference
  • Recent private meetings with OCC, Fed and FDIC
  • Forecasting from Ncontracts’ team of subject matter experts as well as our Customer Advisory Council

Learn from industry experts with extensive experience serving financial institutions about what is not included in your Directors & Officers Insurance, but should be from industry. Also, “Blanket” Bond Insurance vs. Cyber Insurance; You think you’re covered, but you’re not. 


11:15 a.m.-Noon — Industry Update: State & Federal Legislation Report - Robert Palmer, CBAO

Bob Palmer, CBAO President/CEO/Executive Lobbyist, will provide an update on legislation that has been introduced in the first session of the 133rd General Assembly and 116th Congress that is of interest to community banks. Topics of discussion will include Flood Insurance and BSA reform, Interest deductibility on agriculture real property, Cannabis Protection for community banks, and CECL legislation.
