Dr. Julie Bell joined Chartwell Partners to lead the firm’s suite of Leadership Advisory services which includes Success Planning, Executive Assessments, Board Advisory, Executive Coaching and Keynote Speaking. She brings a 25-year track record of partnering with organizations and individuals in their quest to maximize performance. Dr. Julie is a leader in the People Intelligence™ industry with her development of CP Power 4 Assessment, Relationship Based Coaching and Technology Assisted Coaching.
 
Julie earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Oklahoma State University and a Master and Doctorate of Sport Psychology from the University of Virginia, where she studied under Dr. Bob Rotella. She has served as adjunct faculty at Oklahoma State University and Southern Methodist University. Her book, Performance Intelligence at Work, was published in 2009 by McGraw-Hill. She lives on the lake in Athens, TX with her husband, Nelson, and 3 children when they are home from college.

Jim Reber is President and CEO of ICBA Securities. He is a frequent speaker and lecturer at bank investment seminars and workshops. Jim also writes a monthly investment column for Independent Banker magazine. He is on the faculty at Barret School of Banking in Memphis, TN, and previously served on the Board of Regents and a term as Chairman. Jim is a Certified Public Accountant and a Chartered Financial Analyst, and is a graduate of Christian Brothers University, where he served on the Board of Trustees as Chairman of the Finance Committee and University Treasurer.

Mr. Smith’s legal and consulting practice places special emphasis on bank mergers and acquisitions, financial analysis, acquisition and ownership planning for boards of directors, strategic planning for boards of directors, regulatory matters, bank holding company formations and use, securities law concerns, new bank formations, S corporations, going private transactions, and other matters of importance to banks and financial institutions.

Alain Tourikian joined ALM First Financial Advisors in 2019. As a director for the firm, Alain serves as the go-to resource and relationship manager for his clients helping them tap into the power of a partnership with ALM First to maximize their financial performance. With a deep knowledge of balance sheet risk analytics, Alain works closely with clients to provide new ideas, insights and advice on topics ranging from investment portfolio management, funding strategies, hedging, loan pricing, loan transactions, and more. He also collaborates internally with the entire ALM First team to deliver analytics and timely reporting to assist clients from strategy development through implementation and post-execution analysis.   Alain has shared his expertise and experience at various conferences and with multiple industry organizations including FMS Chapters, West Virginia School of Banking and as an adjunct professor at Northern Kentucky University teaching finance. Alain has an extensive Commercial Banking background in Finance/Treasury with solid problem-solving skills that focus on maximizing stakeholder value, customer retention/growth and product innovation. Alain also possesses an in-depth knowledge of portfolio management, fixed income markets, derivative products, wholesale and retail funding sources, and risk management processes. He is known as an innovator in the financial institution industry, having designed and pioneered a number of on- and off-balance sheet strategies to protect and enhance net interest margins. Alain served as Treasurer for First Financial Bank ($8.5 billion in assets) in Cincinnati, OH for nearly a decade and has worked at various community banks throughout his more than 35-year career in the Treasury area. Alain received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Northern Kentucky University and a Master’s of Business Administration in Finance from Xavier University.

Josh McNulty

Josh’s practice focuses on corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, securities, and regulatory representation for state and national banks, holding companies, and other financial institutions. Josh counsels state and national banks, holding companies and other financial institutions on state and federal regulatory compliance issues, including all aspects of regulatory matters involving the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, the Federal Reserve, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, the Texas Department of Banking and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. He also advises clients on corporate governance, stockholder matters, shareholder agreements, fiduciary obligations and a broad range of public and private capital market transactions, including initial public offerings and private placements.


Tim Keith

GENERAL SESSION: Maximizing Margin Expansion in a Dynamic Rate Environment - Wednesday, August 7th, 2:15 PM
 
Tim co-founded Infusion in 2007 and now serves as the Chief Executive Officer. His focus is on working directly with C-level leadership at banks and the full Infusion team to facilitate and present comprehensive household data analyses, identify relevant growth opportunities, develop and recommend marketing strategies and programs, and track, evaluate and present campaign results. Tim joined Infusion from Acxiom Corporation, a provider of marketing technology and services, where he served as Senior Strategist and financial services consultant for the company’s marketing agency unit, Acxiom Direct. In that role he consulted with and advised executives at Bank of America, Wells Fargo, SunTrust, HSBC, as well as a variety of other banks and credit unions. Prior to that, Tim gained experience as a retail Senior Vice President at First Horizon and VP of Direct Marketing at Amsouth Bank (now Regions). Tim has worked with hundreds of banks —large and small—on bank strategy and marketing issues. He is also a banking conference speaker and contributes articles on marketing strategy and programs to banking and credit union industry publications. Tim earned his MBA and Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Mississippi College.
