Get Ready for New ACH Return Code R11: Effective April 1, 2020
Thursday, March 26, 2020
3:00 pm – 4:30 pm Eastern

Learn to determine when, why, and how to use the new R11 ACH return reason code – and the other required changes.  Are you ready for the April 1 implementation deadline?

  • Understand how and why to use the R11 return reason code
  • Distinguish between the uses for R10 and R11
  • Implement necessary changes to your Written Statement of Unauthorized Debit
  • Assess how this new code impacts return tracking
  • Identify which entries may be reinitiated under this new rule

Effective April 1, 2020, there will be a repurposed return reason code to use when dealing with transactions that are authorized, but not quite correct.  This session will explore the similarities and differences between the existing R10 and the new R11 return reason code.  It will address needed changes to the Written Statement of Unauthorized Debit, tracking and reporting requirements, and examine case studies to illustrate which code is appropriate for each situation.

This informative session will benefit ACH operations staff, compliance personnel, frontline staff, and AAP candidates.

  • Sample Written Statement of Unauthorized Debit
  • Employee training log
  • Interactive quiz
